After leaving university with a degree in Geography, but with no desire to don a pair of wellies any longer, I headed for a career in Retail Management. The company soon realised my passion for troubleshooting and creating sales opportunities and I was promoted to a regional position assisting other managers run their stores more efficiently by reducing over heads and increasing sales opportunities.

With a desire to work in more of a Customer focused role, I accepted a position as Customer Services Manager with a large software house. While it was great experience, I missed my retail role and decided that I wanted to get back to the forefront of the sales process. With this in mind, I was given the opportunity to take a marketing role with the same company. I was part of the team responsible for launching some of the most innovative and best selling business software in the UK.

Now with numerous CIM and CAM awards under my belt and many years of proven experience, I decided to take my skills to one of the biggest business software providers and worked as Marketing and PR Manager for their largest and most prestigious UK Partner.

After taking this company to the Finals of the National Customer Services Awards and being invited to a business innovation debate at Westminster as a result, I was approached by Swift Technology Group to undertake the role of Group Marketing Manager.

TWF is part of the Swift technology Group, a group of companies who pride ourselves on leading by innovation and out of the box thinking. Cliche? Not at all, nothing ever stands still at swift, but I guess you have to work in it to believe it!

Also, I have always retained a great relationship with the companies I have previously worked for client side, and re-establishing a working relationship with them as an agency has been very exciting.

The thing with marketing is, unless you work in it, few people understand it. TWF is full of Design geeks and Marketing nerds who Believe in what we do and want to spread the word - I love being part of a group of people who share my passion!
