About me:
I have been involved in Website Development for around 11 years. I started out in the 90’s working in an accounts department (as a fair proportion of IT professionals do!) for a national charity, but soon grew bored of calculators, filing and month ends and wanted to grow my personal passion for computers in any way possible.
This let me to systems administration and then to the inquisitive nature of software development – trying to figure out how things worked and making them better. I got hooked on the software side and specifically the internet and how to make the same thing that had always worked on computers work on this relatively new platform.
I’ve worked for a number of companies in a variety of business sectors since and the main theme of my positions has been my growing understanding of websites, the people who use them and how they interact with them.
Fun Fact:
I once lived next door to Jimmy Saville’s mum.
